Understanding Where Believers Go After Death

The intermediate state after death for believers has evolved from Abraham’s Bosom, a temporary resting place before Christ's resurrection, to Paradise, which represents direct communion with God. Post-resurrection, believers instantly enter Paradise, ensuring comfort and joy, while the unrighteous face eternal suffering. Death is now viewed as a transition to eternal life with Christ.
